Founder Profile

Qiuxing Xie is the Founder and Managing Director of CX Photonics, bringing 26 years of experience in optical manufacturing, operations, and supply chain management.

He began his career in hands-on optical production at Fuzhou Kangshun Optical Communication Co., Ltd., which later became part of Coherent’s operations. He subsequently spent more than two decades as a senior executive at a Chinese photonics company, where he led work across crystal-component manufacturing, lens operations, procurement, subsidiary management, and group-wide strategic sourcing. The company later developed into a well-recognized manufacturer of precision optical components and lens systems within China’s photonics industry. This experience gave him a detailed understanding of the complete optical manufacturing process, from material selection, shaping, polishing, and coating to precision inspection, assembly, and delivery.

In 2023, Mr. Xie founded CX Photonics to support customers with complex and non-standard optical requirements. The company focuses on prototype development, small-batch production, special materials and processes, and supply chain development. Under his leadership, CX Photonics has also established structured procedures to protect customers’product designs, technical documentation, and manufacturing know-how.

Mr. Xie holds a master’s degree and serves as an industry mentor and lecturer at higher-education institutions, sharing his practical experience in optical manufacturing, production management, and supply chain operations.
