Molded glass aspherical lenses refer to molded glass aspheric lenses. The technology lies in the precise control of molds and the softening forming of glass materials under high temperature and high pressure. Technical requirements focus on the ultimate precision of molds, process parameters and finished product inspection.
- Manufacturing Process: Optical glass preforms are heated to a softened state and placed in high-precision aspherical molds. By precisely controlling temperature, pressure and cooling rate in an oxygen-free environment, the glass material softens and fills the mold cavity under pressure, finally forming lenses with aspherical curvature.
- Precision Specifications: Lens diameter typically ranges from 1mm to 30mm, center thickness from 3mm to 15mm. Aspherical shape accuracy can reach below P-V=0.8μm, and surface roughness can reach Ra 0.008μm.
